Let me introduce myself! My name is Deondra Reneé Grant Hightower, and I am a Certified Professional Educator for 24 years and a first-year doctoral student at Luther Rice College & Seminary! I currently teach middle school Career & Technical Education. I love teaching, learning, motivating, and inspiring others. Although I am doing a great job pursuing what I love in my local community, I started to have the urge to expand my purpose far beyond my community to reach others in various places around the world. Journaling is therapy for me. It allows me to be free with my thoughts and it stays between me and God. As I was writing one day, the Holy Spirit reminded me that God blesses us to be a blessing to others. I have been passionate about becoming an inspirational blogger for about four years and thought to myself, why not create a platform to share those things that inspire and motivate me to keep going and never give up on my dreams. I love that you have made a decision to join me on my journey. It goes without saying that some of my posts may speak to your truths, but with that being said, I pray it gives you clarity, freedom, peace and so much more to help you become your version of a "Happy You". I am a mother of three grown sons, a grandmother of five, a daughter, sister, auntie, godmother, friend and most importantly, a Woman of God. I am ready to get this journey started and so excited to have all of you with me.
